The project is a significant community-driven effort to restore the original 2008 classic for modern mobile devices. While the original game by Gamevil was removed from app stores years ago due to 32-bit architecture and OS compatibility issues, fan-led restoration projects have recently reached major milestones in "fixing" the title for newer hardware. The remaster required a license check every 7 days. The patch replaces the license validation function ( checkLicense() ) with a constant true return and removes network timeouts.
