In a genre flooded with power fantasies, Futaisekai stands alone. The title itself is a portmanteau of "Futai" (unequal/unintended) and "Isekai" (another world). Our protagonist, Kaito Sumeragi, does not receive a goddess’s blessing or a legendary sword. Instead, a failed summoning ritual tears him from his world and deposits him into the fractured continent of —a land already dying from a "Rift Plague."
