This paper examines how visible user contributions—such as reviews, public profiles, and authored content—on search engine platforms affect individual and organizational online visibility, perceived trustworthiness, and engagement. Using a mixed-methods approach combining content analysis, user surveys, and a small-scale experiment, we identify key mechanisms by which contribution visibility influences search result prominence, click-through behavior, and trust signals.
