Born on June 2, 1974, in Mumbai, India, Karishma Kapoor was destined for stardom. Her mother, Sunita Kapoor, was a film producer, and her uncle, Randhir Kapoor, was a renowned actor. This exposed Karishma to the world of cinema from a young age. She began her acting career with a small role in the 1991 film "Saugandh," but it was her breakthrough performance in the 1996 film "Raja Hindustani" that catapulted her to fame.
