Princess Mononoke is a dirty, bloody, industrial fantasy. The smoke from Irontown, the slithering curses on Ashitaka’s arm, and the mossy fur of the Forest Spirit look alive at 720p. At this resolution, the compression artifacts are minimal, but the grit remains.
