The movie takes a dramatic turn when Dae-ho learns that his 7-year-old daughter, Soo-young (played by Kim Kwon), is struggling to cope with his imprisonment. Dae-ho becomes determined to protect his daughter and ensure her well-being, even from behind bars. Through a series of events, Dae-ho's cellmates and the prison authorities begin to see him in a different light, and his story sparks a chain reaction of kindness and generosity.
