Ram (Girish Kumar), a wealthy billionaire's son from Australia, falls for Sona (Shruti Haasan), a simple girl from a small village in Punjab. To win the approval of Sona’s protective older brother, Raghuveer (played by Sonu Sood ), Ram must leave his life of luxury and prove he can survive the hardships of farm life by out-earning Raghuveer in a crop-growing challenge.
