Raj (Salman Khan), a struggling singer, saves a wealthy woman named Pooja (Rani Mukerji) from a train accident. When Pooja falls into a coma, her family mistakenly believes Raj is her secret husband, Romi. Raj plays along to help his career but soon falls in love with Pooja’s best friend, Jahnvi (Preity Zinta). A complex love triangle ensues when Pooja eventually wakes up and also develops feelings for Raj.
